Time to move on. I packed up and had breakfast with Axel. Then on my way!! Well, the weather had been gradually getting darker and darker as I packed. When I came out onto the freeway it started to rain. And did it rain! My plans were to drive a short distance and turn of into a mountain area called Garganta del Chorro. But, I decided with this weather I did not want to drvie on mountain roads (or set up camp in the rain), so I kept on going all the way to Sevilla. When I got here I stopped at the first available hotel near the downtown area and checked in.
Sometimes I miss having my camper.

The day I left Granada:
Hi Robert,
The moment you left the campground it started raining there including thunderclouds and lightning. Almost the whole day I sat in the car waiting for the weather to clear but it did not.
I did visit the Carrefour and had a nice pasta (prepared in the shop and already warm) but when sitting down at the campsite to eat it, it started raining again. That's when I decided to move on the first of June (next day). This Saturday I drove to the east side of Spain and the rain kept falling untill I reached Barcelona on the very same day. I drove further till Narbonne in France. At 20:00 hrs I set up camp there and woke up the next morning in pooring rain again. The next day I drove to Beaune in the heart of Burgundy wines and found the campsite to be full. So I moved to Dijon. My last step before returning home. Here I dried my tent and prepared for reching home the next day where I found out that they have had more sunshine than we had. The temps reached above 30 and everybody was walking around in shorts. Even in Oslo temps reached 31 degrees, which is fairly uncommon I assume.
I read your Blog and find it nice to see that you enjoyed Sevilla.
In one of my next holidays I will certainly visit Sevilla too.
Best wishes
Axel
